HELIUM out the wazoo

So today we watched the balloons being filled at Central Park West for the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.
They used this truckload of helium to fill Baby Yoda, Snoopy and a few others.

Why is it a waste? A lot of people get a lot of enjoyment from that parade.

I would think that is helium into the wazoo. Also in NYC for Thanksgiving.

I wonder if they reclaim it when they deflated it? Unless it goes pop!
