Like the airlines are going to listen to Heathrow
I don't know about you but I won't be booking a flight through Heathrow. ;)

Long story short: they sacked all their staff and now they can't get enough skilled and experienced and security cleared staff to service the pent-up demand from two years of lockdown nonsense.

Secondly, two big airlines, British Airways and EasyJet -- plus many others -- have taken overbooking to a whole new level. They're even claiming that "it ain't our fault guv, the algorivvim went wong".

Once you have a flight that's going, you're booked, etc. Then Heathrow and Gatwick share the one security cleared baggage handler -- fully trained in throwing bags around -- so your bags are unlikely to make it to your destination until after you've come home.

End result is they've slashed the number of flights in their schedule.

Thankfully there's some fantastic diving sites in the UK :)

I Have two UK based divers who have already booked their flights to come diving with me in Bali in September before this news came out.
Hopefully they will make it.
