Long story short: they sacked all their staff and now they can't get enough skilled and experienced and security cleared staff to service the pent-up demand from two years of lockdown nonsense.

Its the same for a lot of people my Family is flying through Heathrow back to the Middle East in a couple of weeks time. Although I doubt they will complain on having another few days holiday lolI Have two UK based divers who have already booked their flights to come diving with me in Bali in September before this news came out.
Hopefully they will make it.
