I was just looking for any last minute help/tips from my friends on Scubaboard.
We are heading to Saba on the 16th of April and I have read many of the threads that have been posted on Scubaboard and just wanted to make sure we hit all of the best dive spots and places to see and eat. Thanks everyone for your help. :D

Within a span of a week, you will probably be taken to most of the good dive sites. Then you will be able to use your own judgment to pick the ones that you like best. I guess "best" is relative to what you like to see. To me, best means seeing lots of fish, nice coral formations, and maybe seeing sharks, so from that respect, I like Third Encounter with its swim around the Eye of the Needle, Shark Shoals and Diamond Rock. There are at least three other deep pinnacles, but the above are the ones that I like best. As for shallower dives, Ladder Labyrinth, Man'o'War Shoals and then Core Gut on the Eastern side are pretty nice.

As for other things to do, there is the hike up Mt. Scenery along with several other hikes - but keep in mind that strenuous exercise after diving on the same day don't mix too well. Another thing that you may find to be rather cool is to go down by the airport. On the right side there's a little cove and if you climb and crawl over the rocks, you will find some neat tidepools that are almost like natural swimming pools.

I have just 7 days left until my vacay to Saba. I can't wait. It is going to be completely different from anywhere else that I have been.

Ditto what Manuel Sam said. The only caution might be to be careful at CoreGut. It seems like a 50-60 foot dive but the downward slope is deceptive and you could get to 80-100++ pretty quickly.
Also for a shallow dive, Tent Reef right off Fort Bay, is one of my favorites in the whole world- perfect also for a night dive.
All of the DO's will take you to all the major sites.
As to food, No one should miss Scouts Place and Brigadoon and if it is still in business, The Gate House (They will pick you up) is the equal of any restaurant on St. Martin.
Good Luck-DD

DD- All the places you mention are still in business. Brigadoon offers wonderful sushi by reservation only on Saturday evenings. Swinging Doors BBQ & steak nights and Scout's roast chicken night are also very generous & delicious meals at a very reasonable costs.

I want to thanks everyone that has posted some info. About 20 days to go I can't wait. It has been about 3 months since I have been in anything other than pool working on my DM.

Thanks Again
