Hey there, Single Canadian guy headed back to Cozumel for my second trip, I was there January 2003 for 3 weeks. Phenominal diving, And I am officially hooked on night diving... Anyone planning on heading down in September?

I was diving with Pappa hogs and then switched to Dive with Martin when some people I met at the Bed&Breakfast I was staying at asked if I wanted to join them.

I didn't have any problems with Pappa hogs, I just like the more comfortable boats with Dive with Martin. (They're 1.5 times bigger and just as fast). I also prefer to dive with the 95's or 100's as opposed to the 80's.

Cheers,

Lanshark,
My wife and I will be there with some friends 3rd-11th, we ussually dive with Blue Bubble, but have heard good things about Martin. Only one of the people we are going with is a diver, so will have extra dive buddy as far as we know. I'm not sure how much diving he is going to do because his wife doesn't dive, but your welcome along.
we will be staying at the Occidental Grand from the 6th thu 11th and want to get wet as much as possible.
let me know what you think,

Why do you prefer the 95's or 100's? DWM only has the 95's filled to 2100 or 2200psi. 80's were always 3000 or 3100psi. Do the math.

Glad you had a good time. We liked DWM as well and will use them again in Sept..

As I understand it, the number associated with a tank is the number of cubic feet it will deliver at STP (standard temp and pressure - 1 atmosphere and seventy something degrees F) when filled to its rated pressure. It is not a measure of dead volume, so unless the 95 or 100 cylinder is being underfilled relative to its rated pressure, it will deliver more air than will an 80.

The 95's have 95 Cuft of air at a lower presure, the 80's have 80 CUft of air at a higher pressure.

Cheers,

The Bed and Breakfast that I'll be staying at is still recommending Dive with Martin, It's a pretty decent operation with good DM's and a larger size fast boats (More comortable for 6 or even 8 people.

I'm down for two weeks, so I am planning on 10 days of diving (2 tanks in the Morning and a Twilight/Night dive as well each day (if available) as well as the occasional shore dive. I have my own gear (Reg, BC, computer). I will probably do a Cenote dive as well on the main land.

Cheers,
