Head light or wrist mount for Video

Hey.

I'm off to Thailand in April to go diving in the gulf to earn my AOW and may be my Rescue Diver course.

I'll be diving mainly at sail rock which is normally quite clear water with a mx depth of about 35 meters.

I've been gifted a Liquid Image 320hd camera mask. OK it looks pretty stupid but the video seem quality seems good.I've read reviews as well so i'm not looking at what people think of the mask. Also I'm not looking at recreating BBC life, just record my dive for myself.

I've been told if I go deeper than 20 meter I could do with a wide area light.

My question is:
If I get a light do I need to get one that attaches to the mask (I.e closer to the camera)
Or would a wrist mounted one pointed in the area I'm looking at do the job just as well.

I would use a wrist mounted light, a light on your mask will look like a spot moving around in the centre of the TV when you watch it. A wrist mounted light will give you the choice to focus on things you want to look at close up and give you a choice of interesting lighting angles. Carry a diffuser to get a wider area of light ( a cut out piece of plastic milk jug works well). That way you have choice in your shots.
