Thanks guys :) Here is a side by side version going through all the modes

As this video doesn't have any Gopro HD1 footage at 4.5m with no filter here is a video I made a while ago with a HD1 in similar visibility conditions at a site with max depth just over 5m most of the video would be between 3 and 5m here all in 1080P mode. This was filmed with an EOM housing and this housing which does perform fairly similar to the Blurfix without a filter so it gives an idea of how it performs in comparison at that depth against the video above with a filter.

Thanks Ron, it nearly killed my PC during the editing and rendering process which was a problem when my video had up to 16 layers at times including effects :D.

I gave up at one time and thats why I made the original video first but then thought id give it another go and finish this off. Maybe doing it in sections first would have been easier but I didnt want to have to reprocess the original video files at all or the quality would drop a little with each encoding I think. Working with a lossless codec would just make the files huge and my low memory issues would have been even worse.

My editing is all just self taught along with reading/watching a few tutorials when im stuck so theres probably more efficient ways of doing something like this as I still learn much more with each video I make.

I think I will get a decent upgrade before another video like this which will make it a little less painfull to work with even though my current system isnt all that bad lol. Just needs much more ram 32gb would be nice and 4 more cores would help with the data crunching for sure.

Attention!!! Please be aware that we have had reports of an Amazon seller selling what appears to be the BlurFix. Please be advised that when you purchase from them you will actually be purchasing a flat lens that is not the Snake River Prototyping BlurFix. The only authorized reseller on Amazon is AquaPro HD.
