I am new to underwater filming, and I am currently debating on whether or not I want a picture shooter (cannon g10) or an HD video rig. In the long run, I think video will be more rewarding for me personally. What is my best route for an affordable underwater HD video rig that will grow with me? Is it possible to do this without lights for under 1500?
 
Just found this link off another thread. Canon | VIXIA HG20 AVCHD Hard Disk Drive High | 3085B001 | B&H....the equinox housing is around 900 and the camera is 600. Anybody have any experience with this camera?
