Hawaii & Snorkeling

Hi, Glad I found this forum!
I just purchased my first Gopro 4 silver, and leave for Hawaii in 3 weeks, I have researched like mad the last few days about filters and get a heap of different answers!! which is damn confusing.
(I have searched the forum but I am leaving it kind of late if I need to order some parts)

I guess the deepest I would snorkel down would be around 5mt (16feet) and am basically wondering do I actually need a filter?

You won't need a filter for that depth. Snorkelling in Hawaii is excellent and very easy entries.
