Matteo:
the article I've read on the AP wire states specifically that activities like scuba diving and photography will be allowed
Yes, SCUBA is named in the Proclamation by the President of the United States of America

"Recreational Activity means an activity conducted for personal enjoyment that does not result in the extraction of monument resources and that does not involve a fee-for-service transaction. This includes, but is not limited to, wildlife viewing, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and boating.

Maybe Bush will get certified....

Maybe we should get him a subscription to Highlights magazine, or Ranger Rick so that cute raccoon characters can teach him about animals and the environment.

I'm glad he's signing this into law, but I wish he'd be more sentitive overall to environmental issues.

I wonder, did Cheney watch the video? Could it be that his electronic heart was set to "possibly careing" instead of the defauly setting of "kill 'm all"?
