I believe there has been posts about this already...

But yeah. Howard Hall never disappoints. I almost hate him for raising the bar so high for us other u/w videographers. heh.

I do wish those 3d glasses came a little bit bigger so we could see it without borders, but maybe you didn't have that issue in another theater. Awesome film though. He's a big inspiration to us all.

Yes - made we want to get in the water :fish:

Thought the 3D was fun.

lol... When I saw it in New York I couldn't stop laughing at just how huge the 3d glasses were. The ones they gave us looked like those gag giant sunglasses and covered the whole imax screen. It was a really great movie though. Johnny Depp did a great job narrating it. Some of the sound effects were a little over the top though. It scared the heck out of my girlfriend who i'm trying to get in the water. Hehe.

Bigger glasses?!?!? How about may a full facemask? If the glasses got any bigger they'd be owned by Elton John!

I saw Deep Sea 3D when I was in Vegas, and then took my girlfriend to see it back home. We don't have 3D capability at our IMAX. I was surprised that it was a completely different movie. Even though at the beginning it said "Deep Sea 3D". Am I loosing my mind? There were a few scenes that were the same but for the most part it was very different.

I'm jealous, can't see 3D movies being blind in one eye.I tried one time but the screen was blue,I guess that would'nt be bad for a movie about the ocean :D

that sucks!!! i am sorry to hear that, my step father is blind in the right eye and color blind in the left!!!

I saw Deep Sea this afternoon at the New England Aquarium. Absolutely fantastic to say the least. My favorite part was the mantas shrimp taking on the octopus. The sound effects were great sometimes and corney other times. Like when the wolf eel was crunching the urchin and when the scallops were jumping out of the way of the starfish. I laughed at the first part when the wave came crashing in and all the babies in the theater started crying at once. Kind of like a loud thunderclap in a parking lot and all the alarms start at once.

This is a must see if you get the chance!
