I have a Canon SD600 and have had it for a few years. It's nearing the end of it's life so I thought I'd make it my first dive camera. If anything happens to it, no big loss. However, it seems the housing made for it (WP-DC4) is no longer produced nor available anywhere.

Are there compatible housings that are still made? Canon's line of camera's don't seem to physically change too much, so I thought there may be something that fits a newer model that works for mine. Thanks for any help on this, I'm very new to the underwater photography world and always do point-and-shoot on land only, too.

I have a WP-DC4 that leaked on me if you're interested in a fixer upper. It wasn't a flood, just about an ounce, but enough to fry my SD600. I didn't bother troubleshooting since the camera's dead (and old, i.e. not worth searching for another one). I'm guessing it's just a bad/dirty o-ring somewhere, or I may have not had a clean seal on the main o-ring (I did rush that morning when prepping it :().

I'm pretty new to underwater housings so my troubleshooting skills/fixing skills are sub-par at the moment. Thanks for the offer though :)

Have you tried ebay? There are two WP-DC4 for sale as of today. I've been using SD600 with this housing with I guess good results like for this simple P&S camera: picasaweb.google.com/buddydive2010
