I'm a Fish!
First impressions... Very worth the money. The auto feature is pretty good but I set my own apature and shutter speed for better pics. The shutter speed, 5 megpix, brand and overall features is why I bought the camera. The image stabilization and optical zoom was good enough while traveling on the interstate to take a picture of the small white ovals with lettering in them (such as HHI, OBX, etc.) then using the digital zoom when viewing it on the lcd to read the name of the location in small print under the large letters.

I had a cheaper digital camera and then went to the new Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Had a great time until I saw the pictures on my laptop. Blurry images and overall feeling of my cheap camera not being fast enough to take a picture of a fish in a tank and it coming out as a blurr, definitely was the last straw.

I will attach two similar photos on this message later.

What housing do you use for the S2? (Canon told me they don't make one; hoping you like yours)

yeah am currently saving for the ikelite housing. I've had their housing before for another camera and felt safe with their quality of product.

I have the S1 IS...couldn't upgrade to the S2 as the Canon S1 housing doesn't fit the S2.

Just bought the S2 IS and am currently saving for the $750 housing :( ... Once you have played with it some please let me know what speeds your setting your camera at, etc. I will give ya the same info on mine and maybe we can compare notes.

Thanks,
RED

Sorry it took forever before I've had the time to post these pics.
