Have Aqualung BC will other brand of hose fit?

The corrugated hose on my Aqua Lung BC is ripped about 1/4 way through. Got 220 dives on that BC. The last two dives (last Sunday and Weds.) I thought I was riding low in the water at the surface and had to keep adding air during the surface swim. Turn out to be a hole in the hose. OK no big deal the BC has a lifetime warranty.

But if I can find a better quality corrugated hose and power inflator assembly I'll buy it and keep the replacement the AL gives my as a backup. But if only an AL part will fit i'll buy a second AL hose for a spare

I tried a mares but the threads are a different pitch, very close match otherwise.

Aqualung BC's have a proprietary size hose. I deal with those hoses all the time...get the aqualung replacement.save some trouble..The hose is not underwarranty. The stitching and the bladder seal is the lifetime part. The corrugated hose won't cost much. Good Luck Hal
