Hathaway Bridge Demolition...

The Hathaway Bridge in Panama City, is being demolished and a larger set of bridges is already in place.

A company I work for has the contract for the survey, underwater cutting, and removal of any exposed metal.

I posted a couple pictures from the project if anyone is interested.

Here is a picture of some of the tangle being cut out, the explosives fracture off the concrete and twist the strength members together like this... It is a mess and kind of overwhelming deciding where to start...

The main contractor has placed the spans of-shore and is now adding much of the concrete to the sites, all the nooks and cranies are going to hold a ton of fish. I will post the numbers when work is completed for anyone interested.
