Now that thats settled, i thought that i would like the bc in the beginning, but have never used a air system like that how does it work??is it hard to get used to? where can i get more info on the bc? any info is great?I am really short waisted and i have a time with all the jackets riding up on me even though they are tight at the waist,they dont cinch down enough for us short people.. any advice on this??

Well, I'm glad to hear you like your bc so well. I am also glad to hear it is holding up well. Eventually you will need to get a new one. They don't last forever. As for the cumberbun, we did not stock different sizes. This is generally a piece that does not "break". So I'm afraid we do not have a smaller one for your husband. When I was referring to parts, I was talking about the mechanical pieces like the exhaust valves, and inflator etc. He may be able to find a smaller aftermarket cumberbun.

Sounds like the shop you were talking to wants to sell a bc. I suggest you call around and ask. You never know what you might dig up.

We should be able to fix a Nautica as well. I am referring to the parts mentioned previously.
