Has anyone tried the optional Full Lumbar Pad w/ a Zeagle :42: Stiletto?

Does it add to the existing support or does it replace it? Would you recommend it? Does it take up a lot of room inside requiring any fit adjustments?

It just seems I could use a little extra lumbar support for my old aching back.

Hi djanni,

Not too sure if this will help you in your decision, but I use the optional lumber pad with my Brigade. The lumbar pad is an add-on and is easy to install - it velcros in where the shoulder harness meets the waist panel, then you run the cummerbund through the bottom straps. btw, it is also large enough to almost take up 1/2 a size on the BC, so you'd probably have to make some adjustments to your cummerband.

If you're keen on purchasing one, do check out www.scubatoys.com

djanni,

The Stiletto already comes with the same full lumbar pad as the Ranger LTD. It's great just like it is. Check one out.

The Escape has a very small lumbar pad.

Thank you AC and Chad...

I believe the Brigade is very similar. I actually ordered the pad yesterday from "ScubaToys."
