Has anyone dive inMaldives LOB around Felidhu Atoll and Vaavu Atoll ??

Hi,
just wonder has anyone dive in Maldives LOB around Felidhu Atoll and Vaavu Atoll before?
Any recommendations on vessels/operators and the best time to go? Planing on Dec 2012....
I did search around in the internet, not much of information about LOB operating in that area, and most of the boat prefer Ari Atoll area....

Your advice and recommendations are very much appreciated.

Felidhe Atoll and Vaavu atoll is the same atoll.

Best time to dive Felidhe Atoll will be from January till April or May. That's when the eastern border of the atoll has incoming current into the channels. But if you are lucky you might get a good week late December too. But I would not risk it. If it was for me I will choose February to be sure that Felidhu atoll has nice strong current to see the big fish.

Most of the boats will go Felidhu atoll during January till may or so. But it could be little early or late depending on the current. During other times of the year boats prefer ari atoll cause Felidhu will not have good current to do the channel dives. As most of the dives in Felidhu atoll is channel dives. But you can be sure that many boats will do Felidhu during February and March.

About December, I am not sure if it will have good current that early. So Felidhu might not be the best to choose. December will be just the beginning of the season to Felidhu. Little early to promise anything as the current might still not be the best for Felidhu.
