Has anyone bought Dive Portal DVD's?

I just made my first purchase for the Dive Portal Dvd's...Has anyone else bought them and are they really worth the $25??? Just curious!

I have the first edition Dive Portal and even got it signed at SEAS last fall. I've really enjoyed watching it and felt that it was well worth the $20 that I paid for it (SEAS special). I haven't purchased the 2nd DP DVD but plan to do so. By the way, if you ever get a chance to hear Chatterton or Ritchie speak, go for it. They are both very entertaining and informative.

I bought them both and think they're great. Real in depth diving episodes and some great interviews. The Blue Hole, Belize segment is great covering the technical aspect of the diving from start to finish. I think they're worth it.

Good to hear, I was pretty sure I would like them, but just thought I would ask.

I have heard them speak before, they are very entertaining. I had some friends go to an event in LA a couple weekends ago to see them and said they were excellent. I think they may have even been a little drunk!

I have both. I like the second better than the first - the narration is a bit weak in the first one - but definatly improved on the second! Awesome dive footage!

I also own both and agree with elmo6s, I prefer the second one's narration. It also looks like John and Richie are having more fun in the second one.

One of the divers featured in the second one is a friend of ours and local diver, Ron Micjan. Great guy and it was fun to tease him about being a "star" now.

I don't have either but plan on picking them up at BTS. John and Richie are going to be there signing copies. Great guys! Richie usually speaks at our dive club meetings.
