Ok,

So I am looking for a hard drive HD cam w/housing. I would like to do be able to do MWB. Initially I was looking at Dive Buddy EVO HD Elite + HDR-SR7 cam, but I am pretty sure it can't do MWB.

Anyone here know of a Hard Drive HD cam + housing that can do MWB in the same range or less :)?

Thanks

That's correct...

Ikelite makes a housing for the SR7. Digital Video Housing for Sony Video Cameras
Controls for the Camera Control Dial, Manual Button and the LCD Screen Touch Pad provide full access to setting white balance and white balance shift.

Ocean Images seems to also. It's based on their HC series housing, they provide an optional manual control to touch the LCD screen open in the housing even though it's an electronic housing. Ocean Images Underwater Digital Video Camera Housings - Sony - HC-1, PC-110, PC-100
Check our housings for SONY HDV Camcorders
We carry housings for the latest SONY models including the HC series, UX series, SR series and...

In addition to our electronic controls that access many of the camera functions, we've added an optional mechanical control that gives you the ability to adjust white balance among other options.

Both are about $1000 cheaper than the EVO. The only two I know of...

From what I have read the SR5 and SR7 both have manual white balance and the remote / lanc connector.

They do but the EVO housing has no way to take advantage of it.
