What happened to Hammerhead? Are they still making backplates?
Tried to contact them on ph. and e-mail with no results

Thier website is still up, so I don't know. It's too late to try and call now. How long have you been trying to contact them?

I was real interested 2 weeks ago in a steel plate from them. Wrote a question and two weeks later I got an answer. Sorry, but I bought another plate 48 hrs after unanswered ?.

Are their plates compatible with OxyCheq Mach V wings?

Everyone still happy with Hammerhead Plates?

I went to order one yesterday and their website was jacked up. Also, my spyware was waring me of their site calling it a security risk. Any info on this?

I did end up buying a SS BP and 30 lb. wing from Tobin at Deep Sea Supply last spring. His web site was down for a short bit but came back up again. Did some diving in Cozumel later and was very happy with the set up. Would like to get my nephew outfit with the same setup but he is happy with my old BC... so far.
The BP and wing compacted down much smaller than the BC for packing in my suitcase.
The added weight of the SS BP was worth it since I didn't have to add much weight at all to get neutral buoyancy in the salt water.

I'm still thinking about getting a Hammerhead II plate, but their website is messed up. Can anyone confirm they are still in business? I would call them, but I'm out of USA at the moment.
