Well...Valentine's Day is closing in fast...just wondering what everyone plans to do...anything special or unique? We don't need all the details..this is a family board. But I would like a peek into what you all are going to do ...or perhaps what you would really like to do...but is not possible.

I have my two mini Valentines ( 5 yrs old and 3 yrs old)..we will make make cookies and hang out together. My dive buddy/bf is coming over for dinner...will maybe attempt to cook. But I tell you...i can order take out like no other! lol

In any case...Happy Valentine's Day to you all...may it find you happy!

Sandy :sappy:

Hey...now there's an idea...cooking with the kids...

I guess V-day is Saturday....maybe I should plan something for the wife.

Let us know if you need some ideas, Big T  !!

She's been begging for a ring for her right hand...."this one is getting jealous"...blah blah blah. I just think rings with hearts in them (the one she shoved in my face the other day) are cheesy looking.

Maybe something with the birthstones of our 2 kids would be nice.

I dunno, Big-T, maybe you should save that one for Mother's Day. If she likes rings with hearts in them... I mean, after all, she could not have made it easier for you to shop by showing you just what she wanted

I agree with Sapphire 100%. Take the hint..she'll be so happy!

David asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day. He just spent so much on my birthday..I told him I didn't want anything..
But, he looked so sad..lol so I said flowers. Flowers always work for me.

My plans:

EITHER
I'll be going to the gym and thanking the workout gods that I didn't get any chocolate that I would later be paying for.
OR
I'll be working.

They look cheesy as hell, and it is from a 3rd rate jewler....she knows my stance on buying jewlery...especially jewlery from the mall.

I've got a great little place in Downton cincy that I go for all things gemstone related. It's where we got her X-mas present, and she was absolutely thrilled with it. She just wants something b/c she got something for X-mas...(probably when I'll build and buy the birthstone ring this year)

I don't care what all of you say, you can't buy a nice piece of jewlery for 60 bucks at the mall.
