3 part question:
First, this lighthead is adjustable focus but doesn't have the bezel on front that screws on. Instead, the delrin body is 1 piece and a stainless split ring holds the inards in place. Was wondering what generation this model is, with all the changes they've made over the years (ie, are the screw on bezels their newest incarnation?)
Second, the focus is busted (barely changes beam focus, and at extreme end of range, bulb loses arc). Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? Currently waiting on a reply from Halcyon regarding service.
Third, has anyone out there tried the "sealed" 10w 6 degree nonfocusable unit from Halcyon? I have no need for any adjustment other than a narrow beam, and was pondering asking them to swap the adjustable for it.
