Just bought a used and previously flooded Halcyon Canister light. It was supposedly sent back to Halcyon for repair of the leak issue, but the battery is dead and it looks as though the charger is dead as well.
Wondering your thoughts about just replacing the lead acid battery & charger with oem (I found them easily on the internet for about $100 total) OR is there an upgrade to super battery and charger you would recommend? Do I need a new bulb as well?
Can I test the bulb I have with a 12volt car battery, or will it go Kapoot?

Thanks for any help!
