Got a question for those with Halcyon BP/Wing:

How do you prevent losing the fasteners? I already lost one over the past weekend. Can I use locktite?

Best,
Hory

If you are talking about the T-nuts used to hold the storage pack on the backplate the best way to keep from loosing them is to keep them in a ziplock bag nailed to the wall in your garage (next to the snorkel.)

Ziptie the pack to the plate.

Lock tite works, so will replaceing them with zip ties.

I took the third option and stoped using the mc pack.

Well. I just assembled my new Halcyon Eclipse and I used just a pair of pliers, piece of rubber, and a large screwdriver. Use the rubber over the "T" nut to not score them up with the pliers and screw them together. I would not suggest locktite because it would be so hard to get them off again if you ever had to. If you do use locktite get the blue, not red. Blue is less permanent. You have to kinda torque on them a bit to insure a tight fit though. I really can't say much because I have not even used mine yet but thought the same thing when I assembled it about the locktite an it loosening up on a dive.
