JUE is planning a dive trip to Hachijojima island in October.

Hachijojima, one of the Izu seven islands, situated 290km's South of Tokyo is a semi tropical paradise. From swimming in mountain waterfalls to diving in crystal clear waters, Hachijo is just waiting to be explored. A nightly ferry ride from Tokyo's Takeshiba port see's you stepping off onto a stunning island which has sister city relations with Maui for obvious reasons. Or take a mere 45min flight, departing four times daily, from Tokyo's Haneda Airport. Escape the city for an island retreat. from hachijo.info

We have room for 8 guests, and will be doing a mix of boat (conditions permitting, at least one on the chinsen) and beach diving over two days, returning to Tokyo on the third day.
Sunday night we've arranged an outdoor BBQ to round off the weekend.

1 or 2 spots still open if anyone is interested. . . . .

This trip is now full - Thanks everyone, its going to be a great trip

Someone seems to think a trip to Paris is more important than diving in Hachijojima :mooner:

Therefore, due to a cancellation, we have one more space open for the Hachijojima trip in October. Ferry is booked, dives (boat, beach, night) are set, BBQ arranged --- good stuff. :D
