I am changing out a regular tank valve to an H-Valve on 1 tank. Does it matter if it is a Left or a Right?

Not really. Though many would say get right side valve that way if you take off the H and plug it will be like a std valve. Also if someone is using the cylinder with just one reg you can tell them to use the main outlet and ignore the H. So here again it would be used like a std. valve. That would avoid some confusion.
