I'm looking for a decent guide book for Sea of Cortez dive sites for a trip in September. I'm specifically looking for something that actually gives diagrams in addition to detailed descriptions of the sites.

Any ideas?

The only guide book for diving the Sea of Cortez that I am aware of is the Lonely Planet guide do diving Baja. That covers both the Pacific side of Baja and the Cortez side of Baja, but does not cover the mainland Mexico side of the Sea of Cortez.

One of the Cabo operators' websites provides some actually decent diagrams of major Cabo San Lucas dives (Pelican Rock, North Wall, Neptune, & Lands' End). Unfortunately, I don't remember which operator it is...

Thanks, I'll see if I can find the site.

You can find some description and a map of the sites near La Paz in this site.

You can also find diving in Mulege and in the main land side of the Sea of Cortez, but I don't know how the diving is in those places. IF it's a long trip you'll be better to stay in La Paz the sdive sites near there are great and you are like 2 hours away From Cabo Pulmo, 4 From Loerto and 3 From Los Cabos.
