Look at that star pattern...too cool! I don't think I've ever seen one of those.

How big was it?

The animal in question is:
Halgerda tessellata, grows to 30mm, three possible colour variations and found predominantly in the indopacific

Cool Rooster! So...in order to see the really good stuff, I have to dive with a microscope, right? Where did you take the pic? That really is awesome!

The closer you look, the more you see! These were shot at the most wonderful dive site.......Piti Channel. :shhhh:

Ohhhh....I LOVE that place! Definitely have to get a microscope now! That is, in my opinion, the best night dive spot here...so we will keep it a secret!!

Hey, have you ever dove the the canal in Piti? right where the road turns and there is a sign saying "no swiming"? Its the man made canal to the open water from the power plant. I've only dove it twice, but the first time, it was calm as can be, at least 5 eels swimming in the open, and once we got over the rocks to the ocean...there sat a 5ft stingray...just dancing his heart out! He had no great desire to leave and put on quite a show (of course, Mark's strobe flooded..again...so there are no pics..but it happened, I SWEAR it did!) GREAT dive!
