Hello everyone,

I just got my OW certification last weekend and finally got my butt in gear to register here after lurkering for about a month or so. It seemed pretty simple to me (the OW course & certification). My biggest fear was not being able to equalize my ears, but that didn't really present a problem. I was fine with underwater breathing from the first pool session. About the only thing that really hurts is that first time $ investment in equipment. Hopefully this will be an enjoyable new hobby. :)

Welcome aboard!

welcome aboard and congratulations on your OW

Welcome! So you know Ben huh? My son was a Scuba Ranger with him. My daughter too. Very cool people.
And it is worth it, if you dive. Get out there, and you will soon be totally addicted.
So, was it really 38 degrees last week there? Savannah is home, though I work in Kuwait now.
