I am a student at BGSU and am looking for some fellow students to dive with in the surrounding area. I am newly certified and ready to dive in the quarrys.

I haven't been a college student in 30 years but....

We'll be at Gilboa camping and diving on the 12th, 13th and 14th of this month and you are invited to join us if you would like for all or part of it.

We'll be arriving the evening of the 12th with my Black Dodge Pickup and 21' 5th wheel trailer, in time to do an evening/night dive and will be leaving around noon on Sunday the 14th. Should have time to make 7 or 8 dives in that time.

If you are interested, drop us a line, always happy to help a new diver with his skills.:D :D

Hi Welcome to scuba board.
My son is a student at MU in Milwaukee. He is also a diver.
His best friend, and dive buddy, is also a student there (Rescue Diver) and has dove the Willie in Lake Michigan.
Maybe next spring you could dive together?

Glad you found this board. You will find three pretty good training quarries within an hour of BG. Gilboa, Whitestar and Portage. I grew up just outside BG and went to BGSU many years ago. Although I am now in Michigan, I still do my training dives at those three quarries. Welcome to join in when I go.

welcome aboard!

I will probably be @ one of the quarrys, probably portage becasue it is so close to campus next weekend. If anyone is interested...reply please.

Thanks

Doug

Well... I guess I'm considered a student since I'm working toward another degree via BGSU, but I'm not taking a class there this semester (actually taking one somewhere else to transfer in)...

Depending on the type of diving you're interested in, there are some of us from NW OH, NE IN, and SE MI that dive all year round.

BTW... I live in Fremont...

Where are you from (when not attending college)?

hi

I go to school @ BGSU, but I live in Eastlake, which is 20 minutes east of downtown Cleveland.

If you are interested in diving in the surrounding quarries sometime, let me know. I have all my equipment here at school.

Thanks

Doug
