Just thought I should drop in and say hello, I am new to the site. A little about me, I am married with 2 boys, and am a US Marine. I took my OW course in 2000 in Phuket Thailand. Having grown up in the farm country in Michigan I didn't get near deep water much so It was a whole new world obviously. I was deployed on ship at the time so from then on each port we stopped at that I could find a dive shop, I WENT. I racked up dives in Thailand, The Seychelles, Hawaii, and San Diego. After returning I got married and didn't dive again for a while. Now I am returning to Diving and am working my way up to be an instructor. I will be getting out of the Marine Corps for medical reasons in July. After 10 years I will have to find a new way to live. I plan on spending a lot of time in the water!! I look forward to getting to know you all.

Semper Fi Gator, I know I will enjoy my new career, its going to be an adventure transitioning from the structure and discipline of the Marine Corps to the beach life but I think I am up to the task!! thanks again
