A big "how you doin" from L.I., NY.

I can't believe I never found this forum before, considering all the time I spend on the web. Seems to be alot of good information here. Most questions I have will be about places to stay and dive operator info, but I'd be glad to answer any questions or add any valuable info that I can.

Now for a quick question:
How strict are the diving rules in this forum? Being from the Northeast US, most of my diving (wreck) is deep, cold, and dark. Bottom times are short, so we tend to push the limits a bit (deco, depth, etc.). Are there any rules prohibiting posts which contain information that is beyond the scope of recreational diving?

Hey!

I don't feel I can answer your question, but a big welcome to the board anyway. :bounce:

Being from Idaho, I relate just a little to the cold & dark.

Enjoy the board.

Welcome from Vermont.

I know what you mean by the New England "Deep, COLD, dark", but don't have an answer for you.

Enjoy the board.

I too will leave the question for the PTB (powers that be) but welcome to the board and Glad to have you around.

people are always talking about non-recreational diving (ie technical) in there. no problem thus far, can't imagine it will ever change either.

........ by many to be too stuffy to answer your question!

BUT a big warm welcome from Holland, the Land that nearly joined Atlantis if it wasn't for a wonderful network of Dijkes

Have fun on the boards
