Greeting from Andaman Sea and North Sumatra

Greetings from Sumatra and Thailand.
After 30 years in Thailand and North Sumatra (Indonesia) (We are originally from California) we would be happy to give our twist on the way things are over here.
Especially the areas around the Kuraburi area of Thailand (We are nearer to Richelieu Rock than any other port on the Andaman Sea). And the areas of North Sumatra of which Simeulue Island and the Banyak Island chains are apart.

Welcome to the board

Any experience from Burma (Myanmar...)? I was thinking of going there end of March but having trouble finding any boat heading up there....
