Does anybody have any experience using these filters for green water diving? I've got a magenta filter coming for my Ike housing and I'm hoping it will help eliminate a lot of the green'ish tint I'm getting. I do not have control over the white balance on my old camera. I still need a couple years to save up for a new HD camera, housing, and video lights, but I'm hoping that the $70 filter will help out.

Hey Duane,

The magenta filter does work, yet it really, really makes a difference to be able to manually white balance your camera. I dive a lot in California's green water and have a set of magenta filters for my housing...by now I hope you have used your system...hope you had some good results. The guys on the east coast need the magenta filters too. Just remember the same thing will happen if you are using lights and get too close to silver fish or white subjects, they will pick up the magenta hue.

Good luck and hope this helps.
