I spent the last 2 weeks in Anilao and I have been quite impressed by the marine life here. Especially in terms of the nudibranchs: I saw species which I had never seen before. It sometimes takes a bit of patience to find the goodies, but the effort is richly rewarded. One sub-ecosystem I found very fun to watch are the black coral bushes, with many hawkfish, gobies and shrimps.

Here is my take on the diverse fishes here
- quite a lot of unusual animals to see, I have only started to photograph the fauna. I also wrote a blog post about the nudibranchs.
