Hey all,

The weather being great Friday (yesterday), a buddy and I decided to go out and dive the Rothesay. What an awesome night for a dive (or 2). We got there around 6 and the water's nearly like glass it's so calm, no current, no other divers. I've never seen it so quiet out there. We were expecting others with the same idea, but hey, can't complain; last time I did the Rothesay was on a Wednesday night when 3 local dive clubs were out -- it was very crowded.

So anyway, the viz was off a bit, but no big deal, it was nice to get out there. The moon had risen by the time we finished our first dive, it was beautiful. Our second (night) dive was awesome; all the fish came out to play, including a big muskie that followed us around. The moon was very bright, it cast an eerie reflection on the surface when you looked up at it. And as a final bonus, we didn't freeze our a$$es off when we got out of the water, like last weekend! Of course the water temp's gone down a bit, between 62 & 65.

So I would say, get yourselves out to the Rothesay while we have this great, summer-like weather, for a very nice shore dive. I'll bet it's packed tonight!
