Great dives ahead!

Good day everyone. I am thrilled to be here - I mean to be surrounded by people who are as passionate as I am when it comes to diving. I enjoy the monterey coast as well as the warm water of the tropics - in my opinion people should love both as each carry its own unique charm and challenges. I have always wanted to do scuba diving but could not convince myself to do it alone. So when a bunch of friends decided to do it - I went for it. Sadly, I am the only one who enjoys the cold water of Monterey among the group. I am slowly making my way to becoming a dive con. Hopefully some of you can share insights so I can best be prepared for the challenges ahead.

Glad you're here. I've never dove off California, but a lot of people post about it on the forum.
