Hello : New to this Board and was wondering if anyone could give some advise on Red Sail? we have a trip planned in Feb to Grand Cayman and was wondering what to plan for on the to do list?

My advice to you is plan on finding another operator. Red Sail is known for running a cattle operation. I have read that they routinely carry 25-30 divers per boat.:(

And they use 72 Cu Ft. tanks.

It's true - recently confirmed in another GC thread.

btw, just about every dive operator runs a shuttle along Seven Mile Beach.

Last time I was in GC it was on a cruise and Red Sail was the cruise op. Definitely a cattle boat op although that could be because of number of cruiseros. They were ok but not geared for experienced divers.

Yes, they use 72 cuft tanks.

Though their boats are larger than some, the limit is typically 21.... on boats built to nominally accomodate 30 divers. I worked with one of their operations for 4.5 years and we never had that many.

Red Sail is the largest dive operation with the most location in the Cayman Islands. That could be a positive or negative depending upon how you look at things.
