I am heading to seven mile beach in July

Has anyone recently returned?

Looking for info on beach conditions, I heard that there may be some sargassum

I was just there in May. Since 7 mile beach faces west, no weed.

Was there in late May as well. Weed was present along the south and east coast but pretty much non existent on the west coast.

I arrived in GC yesterday. Staying on SMB. Have not seen or smelled any sargassum. Only been here 24 hours so far and will let you know later in the week if I spot any sargassum. We have been out a good bit already. My son and I paddle boarded a decent length yesterday. My wife and I walked awhile on the beach this morning. Just got back from afternoon boat dives. Great first day!

I live on the SMB corridor. No Sargassum so far this year. Rare that we get it. We have to have an unusual wind shift for it to happen. Other areas have been hit hard hit but nothing compared to our Eastern Caribbean neighbors.
