Hi, this is Debbielou. For some reason when I go to post it is coming out on my husbands' user id.

We (Tavi and myself) have a trip coming up real soon (2weeks away) to Grand Bahama Island and will be there for 2 weeks. We have friends coming to stay for the first week, but have a bedroom that we rent out for $400 for the second week available...Oct. 28 - Nov. 4 You will be responsible for your own food, (or can help out) and airfare or transportation there. We use Air Tran (it's cheap and a good ride.)

Unfortunatly I will not be diving very much at all this trip due to health issues, but will enjoy what diving I can do. I feel bad not being able to be with my husband on the deep dives, but there will be other trips here as we go every year.

We have a dive op Grand Bahama Scuba just past the pool area. We love to dive with them and it's so convienent too.

We stay at Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort.
It is a well kept-up resort and the people their are fantastic, and so friendly. If they can help with anything, they are on it. There is a beach 1/2 mile from us. Port Lucaya is a short walk or bus ride away. Things to do..... Shopping, dining, golf, horse back riding, snorkeling, live entertainment (Count Bassie Square can be interesting on a Saturday night), rent a boat, go to the casino....or just hang around and enjoy the hot tub next to the pool. You can go almost anywhere on the Island by bus for $1.00.

If you are interested in diving or just having thoughts of getting away to relax, here is a good place to go. We are non-drinkers and don't want any alcohol in our unit, but if you have a few when you're out and about, and don't come back smashed I guess we could be ok with that. And of course we all know that drinking and diving doesn't mix. :no

I know this is short notice, but if anyone is interested you can pm Tavi or e-mail rick@rickscuba.com
