hey guys,
I’ll be diving in Malta this upcoming July. I’ll be running out of time to dive in Gozo but would love to dive the inland sea & blue hole in 1 dive. (I won’t have time for 2 tanks).

I’ve read it’s doable but requires good air consumption. I’m quite good on air but wanted a bit more info.
How ‘good’ on air do u have to be? Any comparables.
What is the average depth?
And how much finning is involved? Do u drift more than u fin?

Thanks

There is no current, so it's finning all the way, easily do able because you can choose your depth all the way around, you could do it all at 40m+ if you want.

It's a good swim though, start at the inland sea, swim out through the tunnel (~12m) keep the wall on your left all the way round, over the boulder field that was the Azure window, into the blue hole underwater arch, do your safety\deco stop and surface in the hole.
