I was fortunate enough to get a "greeting" from Rhoneman today who had come from the warmth of the BVI to the cold of the PNW just to have lunch with me (OK, he was visiting family but, hey....).

Anyway, Rhoneman, very pleasant lunch and it was quite a pleasure to meet you and your lovely bride.

Lynne and I then went on to try to list all the SB'rs we have actually met over the years and the list was quite long.

Merry Christmas to all -- and may we continue to meet IRL as time goes on.

It was great to meet you and Lynne as well Peter. Hopefully we will get a chance to have another lunch in the warmth of the BVI one day...!

Unfortunately the number of SB'ers I have met is still very small... but always fun to meet people you already know!

LOVE THE MAGIC OF SCUBABOARD!

I've met so many great peeps through Scubaboard over the years, and some are now BFFs :D.

And there are so many more I look forward to meeting, including both Rhoneman (yes diving BVI is on my do list), and Peter & Lynne (Yes diving PNW is also on my do list). :grouphug:

(unless you get to the Keys first :) )

Well, yesterday, the Keys seemed like a great idea! (Air temps yesterday never got above freezing by much, if at all.)

I do love our internet diving community. I have met SO many great people, and there are so many more that I would like to meet!

Lynne, if it's any comfort, we woke to -8F this morning. And anywhere from 1-3 feet of new snow on the ground in this part of Colorado. I appreciate a white Christmas, but this is ridiculous....
And a HUGE shock to our systems, after being on Cozumel just a week ago.
