Actually, believe it or not, the last time I had a Guinness in London, it was chilled! I was totally amazed... :biggrin2:

If it comes to me cold I ask them to warm it in warm water, then I order my second one so it has time to warm up.

We bought some on Sunday and were shocked, shocked, I tell you, to find instructions to serve it well chilled. It came in little shrink-wrapped shapely bottles (think old Coke machines) and had some kind of cylinder in it to enhance the bubbles. It was...strange.

i asked for a "room temperature" Guiness from a bartender in Gainesville, Florida, and she looked at me like i was a creature from another planet...

then totally pissed her off when my date (now my wife) asked for a martini and she brought a vodka martini... and my wife was like, if i wanted a vodka martini, i would have asked for a vodka martini...

well... it did not end well

HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY EVERYONE
