I only have experience with Backscatter Flip 3.1 system, and find the flip idea really handy when you need to remove the filter to shoot above water or swap filters under water.
 
I have almost no experience with these filters but I can tell you what's important for making good quality video and photos and that is: light, light and more light.
Before you get yourself a bunch of filters, I'd rather invest that money in more or stronger video lights.
The people that have good quality videos online have often spend more money on lights than on the camera itself. Especially people that use Go Pros.
