I need a good quality GoPro Pole to scuba-dive. How to make this pole. What length should the pole be? I have the GoPro Pole Mount.

Have you thought about a telescoping mono-pole? I have been using a an X Shot 2 telescoping mono-pole. It collapses down to about 6" and you can stow it when not filming. Fits into a Hollis utility pouch. The problem I have with a fixed pole is that there can be situations where you want to be uncluttered and need both hands.
