So after my last trip and some really wonderful and very blue pictures with the disposable, I've gone and gotten the WP-DC300 housing for my Canon Powershot S30. (All the Photoshop in the world won't quite fix the color balance on these. I may have to get some fish clip art and just paste that in. : )

And now, likely like the rest of you, I was thrilled to find strobe systems seem to cost more than the camera and housing are worth together. And there seem to be more possible configurations than when you buy a computer these days.

Anyone have any suggestions, (at the... oh, lets call it "more affordable" end), in terms of strobe, tray and what, (if any), synch cables are needed? I'm just trying to put together something simple. As simple as possible anyway.

Thanks for any help/suggestions!

Scott
