What are your favorite or the generally most recommended dive spots for November - February? As in - not too cold.:14:

We live in the Middle East but please share world-wide info - you never know where we'll get to travel. :)

Thanks in advance!

Anyplace in the Caribbean would work.........

This is wide open when one considers the world...the Carib is our standby from where I hail, but those trips are way too few and far between. Locally, though, we have a couple of springs that are within driving range. The good thing about artesian springs is that the water temp is the same year round. Ours in Texas are 70 degrees (+ or - one degree). For us, that's balmy compared to the local lakes and quarries during the winter months. Perhaps your own local springs might be similar and provide the chance to scratch that "divers itch" now and again.

The Philippines!!!
Best bang for the bucks. Airfair may be more from the US, but from Israel? may be the same. Once you arive however, the diving and hotels can be cheaper without suffering quality. You can still spend $180/d if you want, but you can find some rooms for as low as $20/d. they diveing can be $22-$25/dive guided boat dives!!!
Contact the Philippine Paridise Divers forum in Scubaboard they can give you more info, and help with links.

Homestead Crater. Ski all day then defrost diving a cavern enclosed hot spring. No fish, nothing to see really, but odd enough tp be fun anyway.

BTW: I know it's chilly, but the best vis I've experienced off California has been in the Nov-Jan range.

Off Morehead City/Beaufort, NC:) Bring a dry suit after November. A 7mm will get you through November ok...
