doing a cruise and will be in Roatan 8/20. Wanted some feedback about the dive ops working with the cruise ships. Looking to avoid the "cattle car" dives. Any ones to look to hook up with? Also - limited dive opportunities - any "must not miss..."? Thanks for the info

The cruise dive op is Anthony's Key Resort. It's on the opposite side of the island from the cruise port so they shuttle you both ways. They also do the dolphin dives if that's of interest. All Inclusive Roatan Resort & Roatan Diving | Anthony's Key Resort

Another option is Barefoot Divers at Barefoot Cay: Cruise Ship Shore Excursions, Roatan 5 Star PADI Dive Shop Mary's Place is just off Barefoot Cay, it's one of the three best dives we did in a week of diving. Barefoot is probably the closest diveop to where your ship docks. Good operation, we dove one morning with them - Mary's Place followed by the Prince Albert wreck near Cocoview.

There's also the Shark Dive - Roatan Shark Dive They only take bookings for 5 or more but the site is good for details about what to expect. I think you can book it through the cruise line also. Can be more of an advanced dive due to currents/location. The dive itself is near the airport.

Afaik Cocoview/Dockside Dive Center also allows cruise divers on the property daily. I don't know any details about their program. Welcome to Dockside Dive Center
