I tried to dive from shore there years ago, and they wouldn't let me, liability etc. The Genoa Bay marina down from Maple Bay has a couple of interesting wrecks also, but whether they will let you dive, I don't know. We dove there 10 years ago, but didn't ask any one, just went in.
