I'm going to be moving to Missoula, Montana this summer (trading in my Texas Swamp Diver membership to become a Rocky Mountain Oyster) and would love for someone to tell me that there are decent dive sites around there before I start to panic about going into bubbles withdrawl. As a note, a "decent dive site" is currently Lake Travis, Texas - 55 degrees, 5 ft. vis, big catfish. (they bite your ears!)

p.s. I hope at least one person gets the Zappa reference.

Thats, "Movin to Montana soon." But I got it!

Whitefish/Kalispell isn't too far from Missoula. Glacier National Park, Bob Marshall Wilderness. There are tons of clear lakes.

I don't know about the diving, I just wanted to smile at the Zappa reference!

Crud. I hate misquoting like that. But alas.

Going to be a dental floss tycoon.
First thing I thought of

Better get that ice diving specialty and a drysuit!

My sister-in-law lives just south of Missoula. It is beautiful country, not sure of diving possibilities tough. If you find any, let me know so I can check them out when we go to visit. :D

"Your stink foot puts a hurt on my nose!"

"(is that a real poncho...i mean
Is that a mexican poncho
Or is that a sears poncho?
Hmmm...no foolin’ ...)"

"she looked over at me with a glazed eye
And some bovine perspiration on her upper lip area"

"Like a pink donation
To the dragon in your dreams"

I was just listening to Apostrophe/Overnight sensation this morning :14:

Two hour drive to Lake Coeur d' Alene, ID, with wrecks, wall dives, good diving. I'm in it every week, so give me a PM when you want to dive!
